Every year, the AIAA (American Institute for Aeronautics and Astronautics) invites university students to take part in the DBF (Design, Build & Fly). The aim is to give the students a real challenge in aircraft design to work on, in which they have to use their theoretical knowledge to find a solution.

The aim is to design an aircraft that fulfils the requirements of the mission set in advance as well as possible. The mission requirements are reset every year, which means that the teams have to design their aircraft anew each time.

The DBF 2019 was our first participation in a competition and the project for the next participation is already in full swing.
